She Blinded Me With Science

VAYCAY 5753

Two weeks ago, we met up with Missy's family at the CARNEGIE SCIENCE CENTER. There was a special GUITAR EXHIBIT showing there that we all thought might be interesting, but mostly I wanted to check the place out because Missy and her younger brother Joe used to work there back in the day. Before meeting up with her family, Missy and I headed out to the STRIP DISTRICT to have breakfast with her friend Jordan. Missy ended up getting a crepe that was as big and thick as her forearm...

On the way back to the car, we popped into the SOCIETY FOR CONTEMPORARY CRAFT for a quick looky-loo...

My favorite item on display was this METAL BOW made entirely out of PENNIES. The detail was pretty amazing:

At the Science Center, we toured the kid-friendly guitar exhibit first...

Throughout the exhibit, they had all these TV screens built into old guitar amps, which were pretty cool. One of the screens showed eight people trying to play this ridiculous 8-NECKED GUITAR...

They had the WORLD'S LARGEST PLAYABLE FLYING V...Missy got on top of it and played some air guitar, capping off her performance with a few signature PETE TOWNSHEND windmill moves...
