Last Monday, I made it my goal to finally ride the INCLINE up the side of Mount Washington in Pittsburgh. I've been on top of Mount Washington before on previous visits, but I've never rode on a funicular/incline plane/incline before, so I really wanted to make that happen this time. Cristina took us to the incline on "The T" - Pittsburgh's public tramway system. The nearest station was conveniently located just a short walk from Greg and Cristina's house. Between the riding The T and the incline, we got a good dose of using Pittsburgh's transportation system...
We enjoyed the view of Pittsburgh's skyline from the top of Mount Washington and even managed to grab a snack before heading back down the mountain...
I liked how the trashcans up on Mount Washington had a cutout silhouette of the incline:
Later that evening, we had dinner at this restaurant called SALT OF THE EARTH. I had these amazingly delicious GRILLED PEACHES as an appetizer:
Afterwards, we headed down to the NORTH SHORE in search of the MR. ROGERS STATUE that looked out over the Monongahela River. On the way there, Missy freaked out when she spotted some BABY DUCKLINGS huddled by the water...
From the shore, we could see the red lights outlining the tracks of the incline, tracing the way we had travelled up the mountain earlier in the day...

Hi Julie!
Oh man, we never saw that video before...love the autotune!
If you're ever in Pittsburgh, definitely take a ride on the incline. The view of the city is pretty breathtaking on a nice day!
