Weekend Wind-Down #117

Last night, our band, WEREWOLVES (I play trumpet in the band), played a house show at the PLUSH PALACE here in Athens - so named because the ceiling in the living room is lined wall-to-wall with STUFFED ANIMALS. Eventually, the walls on all three sides of the "stage area" will also be covered entirely with stuffed animals, making sort of a plush-lined cave. We played with new K RECORDS artist, GENERIFUS, who is on tour from Olympia, Washington...

MISSY - Not getting to visit the bunnies...
RAOUL - Having to cancel Oreo's speed dating appointment due to bad weather.

MISSY - When Nilla ran as soon as I showed her the new brush I got her.
RAOUL - Werewolves closing out the night with our improvised cover of Rebecca Black's "Friday"

WORD OR PHRASE OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - "VOTE!"
RAOUL - "Skank Sinatra"

FAVORITE MEAL OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - The wheat toast from brunch at The Grit.
RAOUL - Potatoes simmered in tikka masala over rice for din din.

THREE THINGS ON YOUR TO-DO LIST FOR THIS WEEK?
MISSY - Vote, vote, and vote! (and do my Wii fit).
RAOUL - Basically, the same three things I was supposed to do last week.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD STUFFED ANIMAL?
MISSY - Flinny my squirrel puppet.
RAOUL - We had this plush Snoopy that I liked a lot...
