Athens Locally Grown

Most Thursdays after work, Missy and I head straight to ATHENS LOCALLY GROWN, to pick up our weekly order. Unlike most CSA's (community supported agriculture), Locally Grown allows it's members to pick and choose from a list of locally-grown, locally-raised, and locally-made organic produce, food, and health & beauty products.

The funny thing is, Athens Locally Grown is located behind and below the local ADULT VIDEO STORE, along with punk rock bike shop, BEN'S BIKES.





Usually, there is a long line of folks waiting to pick up their orders. When your turn comes up, you give your name to one of the workers, who looks up your order on an iPad and then retrieves your items from rows of coolers located inside the building...





This week, we stocked up on locally-made GRANOLA and specialty YOGURTS from ATLANTA FRESH CREAMERY (their spicy habanero-infused TROPICAL SWEET HEAT YOGURT is a favorite here at the ranch - highly recommended!)...for more information on Athens Locally Grown go HERE!
