More photos from our EYE-C (Explore Your Environment Club) trip to the BRUCE WEINER MICROCAR MUSEUM, just weeks before it's demise. We finally got to the part of the museum that features one of my all-time favorite cars, the BMW ISETTA. Ever since I saw the "STEVE URKEL MOBILE" on the T.V. show FAMILY MATTERS and saw DEPECHE MODE's Dave Gahan drive one in their video for their song "Never Let Me Down Again", I've coveted the three-wheeled BMW Isetta. I always thought they looked so cool and fun to drive...and I liked that the front of the car is also THE DOOR to get into it...anyways, imagine my delight to see that the museum had more than a handful of Isettas...
I think my favorite one was this green one, with the PLAID UPHOLSTERY and LUGGAGE RACK on the back:
