Halloween 2012

This Halloween Raoul and I made ghost pizza that I saw on Pinterest. I did not follow the recipe, but I made the ghosts the same way. I do not have a ghost cookie cutter (I know, it seems like something I should have, really) so I just cut out my ghosts by hand. They came out really good because the cheese melted nicely in the oven!


So here is how the pizzas looked before they were baked in the oven.


I did use a mini cat cookie cutter on one - can you spot the cat?

Snuggle Bunny Monday

Raoul thought it would be funny to get this bowl for the buns! They still eat out of is, even though it has the skull and crossbones.

MISSY - Trying to trim the bunnies' nails. It's been hard lately!
RAOUL - IKEA still being sold out of that patio table we've been wanting to get.

MISSY - Running into Brittany in Poncey-Highland, at that cafe!
RAOUL - Ditto. Running into Brittany.

WORD OR PHRASE OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - Flower drink.
RAOUL - Happy Birthday.

FAVORITE MEAL OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - I liked your birthday meal at The Grit.
RAOUL - Dinner at The Grit!

WORST MEAL OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - I'm sick of soup because I had so much of it when I was sick.
RAOUL - Microwave burrito.

FAVORITE "COUPLES COSTUME" WE'VE DONE IN THE PAST?
MISSY - It's a tie between "Wheat Bread & White Bread" and "Garden Gnomes".
RAOUL - I thought "The Skipper & Gilligan" was pretty funny.

PERSONAL RESOLUTION FOR THIS WEEK?
MISSY - Keep up with my planner.
RAOUL - Try to be in bed by 11:30pm every night this week.

We Buy DIY: Community

A few weeks ago Raoul and I went to one of our favorite local shops, Community. Community is a super cool vintage and sustainable fashion boutique. I love looking at their reworked vintage clothing, local artisan jewelry, and vintage furniture. We went by to drop off some of my handmade Love Letter Envelope Lockets!






Community is above Jittery Joe's cafe in downtown Athens. I really like the view from up here, and the bright windows.


Here are some screen printed cards and mini pillows! They are really cute! I even got a birthday card to mail to my friend.
