I love to give Nilla hugs! See, I told you my dad was a printer, therefore there is a paper box in this photo. Nilla loves card board, but not as much as she loves food. Her three favorite things are food, card board, and wood.

My Weekend Patterns
I love pattern and color, so here are some cute pictures that I took over the weekend. I think these are fab representations of pattern and color, and I hope you do, too. Here are some gumballs that are at Five Star Day Café. You can go see them if you are in Athens. I am using this picture as my current desktop pattern!
Luv their faces!
These very cute lamps I saw at Agora! I love shopping at Agora because you never know what you will come across there! These tiny tigers remind me of Dream Pets!
Super bounce balls are also found at Five Star here in Athens. Please do not confuse these with the gumballs! You might be in a bit of trouble if that happens...! ❤

Weekend Wind-Down #100
Sorry for posting the Weekend Wind-Down so late...we had a pretty full weekend, which included a meet-up of the WASHINGTON STREET LIBERATION ARMY GARDEN CORP sunday afternoon, at the WSLA Community Garden. Everyone brought the seedlings we "foster parented" a couple of months back so they could be transplanted to the new garden bed which was being freshly tilled...
Arugula and radishes were harvested from another garden bed in the yard...the arugula had started to bolt and some of the radishes started to split. Missy and I took them inside to wash. As Missy rinsed off the radishes, I picked the leaves of arugula and piled them high. After everything was washed, we made a salad to supplement some of the food that the rest of the group brought. Needless to say, the garden fresh vegetables were delicious...
After the light lunch, the group headed back out into the sun to plan and plant the newly tilled garden bed...plants were positioned in rows and seeds were sewn into little mounds of dirt...

Snuggle Bunny Monday
Here is Oreo having some wheat grass I planted for her and Nilla. Both of our pets really enjoy wheat grass.
As you can tell, Oreo ate every last bit of grass, until there was nothing left.
She is a very funny bun.
Twilight Time
Last Saturday:
10:00 AM - Headed down to R. WOOD STUDIO's open house...after much waffling and debating, finally added some nice pieces to our CERAMICS COLLECTION and managed to stay within our budget...
11:30 AM - stopped at a packed FIVE STAR DAY CAFE for lunch. There was no where to sit, so we got it to go. Missy took photos of the GUMBALLS because she wanted a new DESKTOP IMAGE for her computer...
12:00 NOON - went around the corner to see what was happening with the TWILIGHT CRITERIUM. Nothing much was happening so we poked around the shops downtown and did a bit more spending. We saw an awesome ALF PHONE at AGORA...there was a time when I would have brought it home with us, but luckily for Missy, that time had come and gone a couple of years ago...
4:00 PM - made our way over to OHH, BOY! for the opening day at their brand new location. We checked on our stock and picked up a few goodies before heading back downtown...
5:00 pm - found ourselves at COZY YUM YUM...we originally stopped in to get a couple of bubble teas to go, but ended up staying for PAD THAI and MASAMAN CURRY. Took away a couple of STRAWBERRY BUBBLE TEAS for dessert...
6:30 PM - made our way to the racecourse, just in time for the first race of the TWILIGHT CRITERIUM. We staked out a spot just inside the 4th turn. While volunteers rushed to set up barriers, tow trucks rushed to clear the track of "debris". Anxious cyclists waited impatiently for the race to get underway...
