Missy started taking JEWELRY / METALSMITHING classes last year...this year, they moved their classes into a new facility and they recently had an OPEN HOUSE to show off their new digs. We started the evening off by looking at some of the amazing jewelry and metal pieces made by some of the more advanced students...

MISSY - Sleeping 12 hours straight this weekend!
RAOUL - Printmaking exhibition opening at UGA this past Friday.

WORST MOMENT OF THE PAST WEEK?
MISSY - Having cramps.
RAOUL - Being too tired to attend the Big Freedia booty jam at Farm this past Friday.

MISSY - Oreo and Jumbles being super excited to come back into the house after playing on the patio all weekend.

Sketchbook Sunday - Cats and Bunnies

Here are some of my drawings I have been working on lately. Some of these are for my button designs that I have in Shoppe Sugar Cookie, and some are for fabric pattern designs I have at my Spoonflower fabric shop. Some are from my Tunesday Tuesday posts, too. It is neat to see how they turn out and if you might notice them in other places.






I like drawing in pencil more and more recently, and then I like to use different pens to ink the artwork in. I love drawing animals, too. I do not mind drawing people so much, too - but when I was a child I never liked to draw people. I only drew animals and my toys!

Every month at work they pass out these CALENDARS with all our co-workers' birthdays listed. I think the CLIP ART in the header looks kinda like Missy and me!
