Weekend Wind-Down House Guest: Gemini Cricket

Hello,

Tonight, we're going to try something new and hopefully, we'll be doing it more often. We're hoping that this little addition to the blog will keep things a little more interesting here at Rancho Cocoa. We were thinking that it would be cool to invite some of our friends to answer our weekly Weekend Wind-Down survey, in order for us (and I guess everyone else on the internet) to take a little peek into their world...our first "house guests" are our friends, BLAKE and SARA TABB - the cuter-than-cute and happily-married duo who comprise the nucleus - the BEATING HEART - of local Athens band, GEMINI CRICKET....they are playing a show this coming Wednesday night at the FLICKER THEATER & BAR, here in Athens, Georgia, and...if you happen to be around...then you should definitely mosey on in, grab some free popcorn, order yerself a beverage, and listen to some good tunes...you can find more information about the show and Gemini Cricket by checking out the band's website HERE...and you can go deeper into the lives of the Gemini Crickets by checking out Sara's new-ish blog, TAG TEAM TABB. BLAKE: Taking our guitars to the doctor (they were gone for 3 days!)

BLAKE: A 6 year old kid at work says to me: "Coach Blake, I've got pimples!" I say "Oh yeah? What are pimples?" Pulling down her dress she replies "Pimples are the things that grow on top of your BOOBS!"
