I mentioned the other night that a photographer from the ATHENS BANNER-HERALD came over to our house to take pictures for a story they were doing on local crafters. The story officially came out today and we couldn't be more surprised that our pictures were used for the cover of the MARQUEE, the newspaper's lifestyle/entertainment guide! Here are some photos from the on-line version of the paper and photos of the actual paper...Me and Missy went all around town today trying to find copies of the paper and only managed to find TWO...crazy! So, if anyone out there has extra copies, we'd like to have them, if you don't want them...we'd like to send a copy or two to our families.

We'd like to thank Mary Jessica Hammes for writing such a wonderful piece on the Athens crafting scene, and would especially like to thank Trevor Frey for being so nice and for taking some great photos (he even used the mini "photo studio" we had set up to shoot individual pictures of our plush...good thing we didn't take it down just yet). Now, I'm off to the FLICKER THEATER & BAR to see LAKE and HALF-HANDED CLOUD perform...I have not seen John Ringhofer (a.k.a. H.H.C.) in like, forever. For an all-too-brief couple of months we were both part of RED PONY CLOCK's horn section...good times...

More tomorrow...g'night!
