Weekend Wind-Down #76

GARDEN 6447

We really thought that these were going to be the last of the tomatoes from our garden, but happily, we were wrong. The recent rains have been great for our tomatoes, but totally ruined our cantaloupes, squash, and pumpkin plants. Maybe in a couple of weeks, our plants won't be able to bear the cold weather that is surely on it's way. But for right now, there's still a handful of tomatoes ripening on the vine. And, as cliche as it sounds, veggies really do TASTE BETTER when you grow them organically and harvest them yourself! (our tomatoes tasted especially good in GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES...)
