Missy and I work in the design department of a corporation that designs and sells "balloons and co-ordinating gift items" and a good deal of our time is spent contemplating COLOR, in particular, PANTONE color swatches (getting our products to perfectly match 200C is our "Holy Grail"). So, imagine my delight when I stumbled across this Pantone/Rubik's Cube hybrid on BOING BOING. If this was something that you could actually buy, I so totally would. So far, it only exists as an exercise in clever design...

I know! Isn't it? I've seen Pantone chips on other products...like tote bags and mugs...so I wonder if Pantone does license it's "image" out to other companies? I really would love to have a Pantone Rubik's Cube. I would just stare at it all day and nerd out.
